Man, it is so hard to craft and work on things when the moment your child sees it, they snag it up and run away with it. It can be such an adventure trying to find where they've stashed it from you, too. My youngest, Samantha, is notorious for this. She is such a little stinker. I usually don't even get to weave in the ends before she takes whatever it is I am working on. I'm lucky enough to just cut it away from the skein! I'll tell you what! I'm going to use "kid approved" on all of my items from now on. Hey, don't be jealous you didn't think of it first! I love my children so much and can't imagine what kind of items I could create that they wouldn't run off with. I could probably go outside, find a rock, wrap it to death with the most hideous color of yarn, glue googly eyes onto it, and they would still take it. Hmmm . . . I think an experiment is in order!! How do you keep your kids away from your projects? I am thinking Mommy needs a craft room with a lock. Do you think my husband would go for that? He doesn't have a man cave, so I bet not.
My name is Amber and I am the designer behind Knotted Notions! I love to do so many different types of projects. I am always tangled in the chaos of my life and the yarn that consumes my closet
